As today began my puppy was locked in the neighbors yard. The neighbors back yard. Fenced back yard. For she had gotten herself in, but could not deceiver a way out. Trying not to raise alarm or a 500$ ticket... >.> I rescued her. Lowering over a lawn chair for her to clamber upon. Under cover of their shed she made her escape. Into my arms, I pulled her front paws onto my shoulders where she clutched me fiercely as puppy paw can muster. I hugged her tightly and lifted her from her troubles, scooping her back paws above the scratching fence top. And flopping her unceremoniously on her back in the mud on the other side. She is after all, a 75 pound puppy.
Lucky for me that the fence was only 3 feet tall and bendy wire or she would have been toast.
