As today began my puppy was locked in the neighbors yard. The neighbors back yard. Fenced back yard. For she had gotten herself in, but could not deceiver a way out. Trying not to raise alarm or a 500$ ticket... >.> I rescued her. Lowering over a lawn chair for her to clamber upon. Under cover of their shed she made her escape. Into my arms, I pulled her front paws onto my shoulders where she clutched me fiercely as puppy paw can muster. I hugged her tightly and lifted her from her troubles, scooping her back paws above the scratching fence top. And flopping her unceremoniously on her back in the mud on the other side. I don't know that I'm comfortable here. I see so many actually talented artists who actually put effort and work into their fantastic creations... and then I see mine. And they're funny shaped, just like I mentally criticize others for. They're boring too. Never any movement or character. Blank and flat. Lacking in any definable detail. When I happen to rally and muster the effort to lay on some detail, it looks forced or over done. And usually badly done. Then, once I've finished something, and the initial high of, "Whoohoo! I did it! Personal best! Look everyone!" I become terribly embarrassed that I even created that monstrosity. Then I fe

Look! I have a journal entry! I dont really have much else. I'm going to try to get off the computer and do something that makes something be done at the end of all that doing. Maybe more attempts at lineart because I'm kind of in love with it right now. Like all the other people drawing folk I need to work on poses... so going to go doodle or do something REALLY cool like write. Or eat some cereal. Now even though this makes it worse, I want to whine that I sound like an angsty rambling 14 year old right now. No offense to any fourteen year olds out there happening to read this.
